Hadith 118 — Livre 1: Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah)
كتاب الطهارة
Rapporté par ‘Amr b. Yahya al-Mazini, d’après son père qui a demandé à ‘Abd Allah b. Zaid, le grand-père de ‘Amr b. Yahya al-Mazini : « Peux-tu me montrer comment le Messager d’Allah ﷺ faisait ses ablutions ? » ‘Abd Allah b. Zaid a répondu : « Oui. » Il a demandé de l’eau pour les ablutions, l’a versée sur ses mains et les a lavées ; puis il s’est rincé la bouche et a pris de l’eau dans le nez trois fois ; ensuite, il a lavé son visage trois fois et ses avant-bras jusqu’aux coudes deux fois ; puis il a essuyé sa tête avec les deux mains, les passant de l’avant vers l’arrière de la tête, en commençant par le front, puis les a ramenées jusqu’à la nuque ; ensuite, il les a ramenées à l’endroit où il avait commencé (à essuyer) ; puis il a lavé ses pieds

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ - وَهُوَ جَدُّ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ هَلْ تَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ تُرِيَنِي، كَيْفَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَوَضَّأُ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ نَعَمْ . فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاَثًا ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ بِيَدَيْهِ فَأَقْبَلَ بِهِمَا وَأَدْبَرَ بَدَأَ بِمُقَدَّمِ رَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ بِهِمَا إِلَى قَفَاهُ ثُمَّ رَدَّهُمَا حَتَّى رَجَعَ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي بَدَأَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ .
Traduction anglaise
‘Amr b. Yahya al-Mazini reports on the authority of his father who asked ‘Abd Allah b. Zaid, the grandfather of ‘Amr b. Yahya al-Mazini:Can you show me how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed ablution? ‘Abd Allah b. Zaid replied: Yes. He called for ablution water, poured it over his hands, and washed them; then he rinsed his mouth and snuffed up water in the nose three times; then he washed his face three times and washed his forearms up to elbow twice; then he wiped his head with both hands, moving them front and back of the head, beginning from his forehead, and moved them to the nape; then he pulled them back to the place from where he had started (wiping); then he washed his feet
Traduction en ourdou
یحییٰ مازنی کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے عبداللہ بن زید بن عاصم ( جو عمرو بن یحییٰ مازنی کے نانا ہیں ) سے کہا: کیا آپ مجھے دکھا سکتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کس طرح وضو فرماتے تھے؟ تو عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ہاں، پس آپ نے وضو کے لیے پانی منگایا، اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں پر ڈالا اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے، پھر تین بار کلی کی، اور تین بار ناک جھاڑی، پھر تین بار اپنا چہرہ دھویا، پھر دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں تک دو دو بار دھوئے، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، ان دونوں کو آگے لے آئے اور پیچھے لے گئے اس طرح کہ اس کی ابتداء اپنے سر کے اگلے حصے سے کی، پھر انہیں اپنی گدی تک لے گئے پھر انہیں اسی جگہ واپس لے آئے جہاں سے شروع کیا تھا، پھر اپنے دونوں پیر دھوئے۔
