كتاب الجنائز
Rapporté par Ibn Juraij : Abu Az-Zubair m’a dit qu’il a entendu Jabir dire : Le Messager d’Allah a prononcé un discours et a parlé d’un homme parmi ses Compagnons qui était décédé. Il avait été enterré la nuit et enveloppé dans un linceul insuffisant. Le Messager d’Allah les a réprimandés et a dit que personne ne devait être enterré la nuit sauf en cas de nécessité. Et le Messager d’Allah a dit : « Quand l’un de vous veut prendre soin de son frère, qu’il l’enveloppe bien. »

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْبَسُوا مِنْ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضَ فَإِنَّهَا أَطْهَرُ وَأَطْيَبُ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn Juraij sad:"Abu Az-Zubair told me that he heard Jabir say: "The Messenger of Allah delivered a speech and mentioned a man among his Companions who had died. He had been buried at night and wrapped in a shroud that was not sufficient. The Messenger of Allah reduced (them) and said that no one should be buried at night unless constrained to do that. And the Messenger of Allah said: When one of you wants to takes care of his brother, let him shroud him well
Traduction en ourdou
سمرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم کپڑوں میں سے سفید کپڑے پہنا کرو کیونکہ وہ پاکیزہ اور عمدہ ہوتا ہے، نیز اپنے مردوں کو ( بھی ) اسی میں کفنایا کرو ۔
