كتاب الحج
Amra Ibn Abdel-Rahman a rapporté que Ziad Ibn Abi Soufian avait écrit à Aicha, la femme du Prophète (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah): «Abdallah Ibn Abbas a dit: «celui qui envoie un animal à sacrifier, doit s'abstenir de tout ce dont s'abstient un pèlerin, jusqu'à ce que cet animal soit sacrifié. Et comme j'ai déjà fait mon offrande, fais-moi savoir par écrit, ou renseigne celui qui amène cette offrande». Amra ajouta: «Aicha a répondu:«ce n'est pas comme Ibn Abbas a dit; moi-même, j'ai tressé de mes propres.mains les guirlandes de l'animal sacrifié de l'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah), puis à son tour il les mit autour du cou de l'animal, et il l'envoya gardé par mon père. L'Envoyé d'Allah (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah) ne s'est pas interdit de tout ce que Allah lui a rendu licite jusqu'à ce qu'il sacrifia son animal»

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ زِيَادَ بْنَ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النِّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَنْ أَهْدَى هَدْيًا حَرُمَ عَلَيْهِ مَا يَحْرُمُ عَلَى الْحَاجِّ حَتَّى يُنْحَرَ الْهَدْىُ وَقَدْ بَعَثْتُ بِهَدْىٍ فَاكْتُبِي إِلَىَّ بِأَمْرِكِ أَوْ مُرِي صَاحِبَ الْهَدْىِ . قَالَتْ عَمْرَةُ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَيْسَ كَمَا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَا فَتَلْتُ قَلاَئِدَ هَدْىِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدَىَّ ثُمَّ قَلَّدَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ بَعَثَ بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَعَ أَبِي فَلَمْ يَحْرُمْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَىْءٌ أَحَلَّهُ اللَّهُ لَهُ حَتَّى نُحِرَ الْهَدْىُ .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik, from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad, that Amra bint 'Abd ar-Rahman told him that Ziyad ibn Abi Sufyan once wrote to A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying, "'Abdullah ibn Abbas said that whatever was haram for some one doing hajj was also haram for some one who sent a sacrificial animal until the animal was sacrificed. I have sent one, so write and tell me what you say about this, or tell the man in charge of the animal what to do. Amra said that A'isha said, "It is notas Ibn Abbas has said. I once plaited the garlands for the sacrificial animal of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with my own two hands. Then after that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, himself put the garlands on the animal and then sent it with my father. And there was nothing that Allah had made halal forthe Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that was haram for him until such time as the animal had been sacrificed

عمرہ بنت عبدالرحمن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت ہے کہ زیاد بن ابی سفیان نے لکھا ام المومنین عائشہ کو کہ عبداللہ بن عباس کہتے ہیں جو شخص ہدی روانہ کرے تو اس پر حرام ہو گئیں وہ چیزیں جو حرام ہیں محرم پر یہاں تک کہ ذبح کی جائے ہدی سو میں نے ایک ہدی تمہارے پاس روانہ کی ہے تم مجھے لکھ بھیجو اپنا فتوی یا جو شخص ہدی لے کر آتا ہے اس کے ہاتھ کہلا بھیجو، عمرہ نے کہا عائشہ بولیں ابن عباس جو کہتے ہیں ویسا نہیں ہے میں نے خود اپنے ہاتھ سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ہدی کے ہار بٹے تھے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ سے لٹکائی اور اس کو روانہ کیا میرے باپ کے ساتھ سو آپ پر کوئی چیز حرام نہ ہوئی ان چیزوں میں سے جن کو حلال کیا تھا اللہ نے ان کے لئے یہاں تک کہ ذبح ہوگئی ہدی۔
