كتاب الصوم
On demanda à Abdallah Ibn Omar au sujet de la femme enceinte qui craint pour son fœtus, si le jeûne lui cause de la faiblesse? Il répondit: «Qu'elle cesse de jeûner et qu'elle donne à manger aux pauvres, pour chaque jour, un moudd de froment qui équivaut au moudd du Prophète (salallahou alayhi wa salam) r (Sur lui la grâce et la paix d'Allah)». Malek a dit: «Les hommes versés prévoient qu'elle doit jeûner d'autres jours par compensation, conformément aux paroles d'Allah à Lui la puissance et la gloire: «Celui d'entre vous qui est malade ou qui voyage, jeûnera ensuite un nombre égal de jours». Coran II, 184. Ils considèrent que sa grossesse et sa crainte sur son enfant ne sont qu'une maladie»

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْحَامِلِ، إِذَا خَافَتْ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا وَاشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهَا الصِّيَامُ قَالَ تُفْطِرُ وَتُطْعِمُ مَكَانَ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا مُدًّا مِنْ حِنْطَةٍ بِمُدِّ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . قَالَ مَالِكٌ وَأَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ يَرَوْنَ عَلَيْهَا الْقَضَاءَ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ} وَيَرَوْنَ ذَلِكَ مَرَضًا مِنَ الأَمْرَاضِ مَعَ الْخَوْفِ عَلَى وَلَدِهَا .
Traduction anglaise
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Abdullah ibn Umar was asked about what a pregnant woman should do if the fast became difficult for her and she feared for her child, and he said, "She should break the fast and feed a poor man one mudd of wheat in place of every day, using the mudd of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." Malik said, "The people of knowledge consider that she has to make up for each day of the fast that she misses as Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, says, 'And whoever of you is sick or on a journey should fast an equal number of other days, ' and they consider her pregnancy and her concern for her child as a sickness

امام مالک کو پہنچا انس بن مالک بوڑھے ہو گئے تھے یہاں تک کہ روزہ نہ رکھ سکتے تھے تو فدیہ دیتے تھے ۔ امام مالک کو پہنچا کہ عبداللہ بن عمر سے سوال ہوا کہ حاملہ عورت اگر خوف کرے اپنے حمل کا اور روزہ نہ رکھ سکے تو کہا انہوں نے روزہ نہ رکھے اور ہر روزے کے بدلے میں ایک مسکین کو ایک مد گیہوں دے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے مد سے ۔
