كتاب صلاة المسافرين وقصرها
Rapporté par Ubayy b. Ka'b : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ se trouvait près du bassin des Banu Ghifar lorsque Gabriel vint à lui et dit : « Allah t’a ordonné de réciter le Coran à ton peuple dans un seul dialecte. » Il répondit : « Je demande pardon et indulgence à Allah. Mon peuple n’en est pas capable. » Gabriel revint une deuxième fois et dit : « Allah t’a ordonné de réciter le Coran à ton peuple dans deux dialectes. » Le Prophète ﷺ répondit encore : « Je demande pardon et indulgence à Allah. Mon peuple n’en serait pas capable. » Gabriel revint une troisième fois et dit : « Allah t’a ordonné de réciter le Coran à ton peuple dans trois dialectes. » Il répondit : « Je demande pardon et indulgence à Allah. Mon peuple n’en serait pas capable. » Gabriel revint une quatrième fois et dit : « Allah t’a ordonné de réciter le Coran à ton peuple dans sept dialectes, et dans n’importe lequel ils le réciteront, ils auront raison. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ عِنْدَ أَضَاةِ بَنِي غِفَارٍ - قَالَ - فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَقْرَأَ أُمَّتُكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى حَرْفٍ . فَقَالَ " أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ مُعَافَاتَهُ وَمَغْفِرَتَهُ وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي لاَ تُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ " . ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ الثَّانِيَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَقْرَأَ أُمَّتُكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى حَرْفَيْنِ فَقَالَ " أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ مُعَافَاتَهُ وَمَغْفِرَتَهُ وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي لاَ تُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ " . ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ الثَّالِثَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَقْرَأَ أُمَّتُكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى ثَلاَثَةِ أَحْرُفٍ . فَقَالَ " أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ مُعَافَاتَهُ وَمَغْفِرَتَهُ وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي لاَ تُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ " . ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ الرَّابِعَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكَ أَنْ تَقْرَأَ أُمَّتُكَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ فَأَيُّمَا حَرْفٍ قَرَءُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَدْ أَصَابُوا .
Traduction anglaise
Ubayy b. Ka'b reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was near the tank of Banu Ghifar that Gabriel came to him and said:Allah has commanded you to recite to your people the Qur'an in one dialect. Upon this he said: I ask from Allah pardon and forgiveness. My people are not capable of doing it. He then came for the second time and said: Allah has commanded you that you should recite the Qur'an to your people in two dialects. Upon this he (the Holy prophet) again said: I seek pardon and forgiveness from Allah, my people would not be able to do so. He (Gabriel) came for the third time and said: Allah has commanded you to recite the Qur'an to your people in three dialects. Upon this he said: I ask pardon and forgiveness from Allah. My people would not be able to do it. He then came to him for the fourth time and said: Allah has commanded you to recite the Qur'an to your people in seven dialects, and in whichever dialect they would recite, they would be right
Traduction en ourdou
محمد بن جعفر غندر نے شعبہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے حکم سے ، انھوں نے مجاہد سے ، انھوں نے ابن ابی لیلیٰ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بنو غفار کے اضاۃ ( بارانی تالاب ) کے پاس تشریف فرما تھے ۔ کہا : آپ کے پاس جبرئیل ؑ آئے اور کہا : اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کو حکم دیا ہے کہ آپ کی امت ایک حرف ( قراءت کی صورت ) پر قرآن پڑھے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کا عفو ( درگزر ) اور اس کی مغفرت چاہتاہوں میری امت اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتی ۔ " پھر وہ جبرئیل علیہ السلام دوبارہ آپ کے پاس آئے ۔ اور کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ حکم دیتا ہے کہ آپ کی امت دو حرفوں پرقرآن پڑھے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا : " میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کا عفو اور بخشش مانگتا ہوں ، میری امت اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتی ۔ پھر وہ جبرئیل علیہ السلام تیسری بار آپ کے پاس آئے ۔ اور کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ حکم دیتا ہے کہ آپ کی امت تین حرفوں پرقرآن پڑھے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا : " میں اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کا عفو اور بخشش مانگتا ہوں ، میری امت اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتی ۔ پھر وہ جبرئیل علیہ السلام چوتھی مرتبہ آپ کے پاس آئے ۔ اور کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ حکم دیتا ہے کہ آپ کی امت سات حرفوں پرقرآن پڑھے ۔ وہ جس حرف پر بھی پڑھیں گے ٹھیک پڑھیں گے ۔
