كتاب صلاة المسافرين وقصرها
Rapporté par al-Bara’ : Al-Bara’ a rapporté qu’une personne récitait la sourate al-Kahf alors qu’un cheval, attaché à côté de lui avec deux cordes, se trouvait là. Un nuage l’a alors recouvert, et à mesure qu’il s’approchait, le cheval s’est mis à prendre peur. Il en parla au Prophète ﷺ le matin, et celui-ci lui dit : « C’était la tranquillité qui est descendue lors de la récitation du Coran. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ وَعِنْدَهُ فَرَسٌ مَرْبُوطٌ بِشَطَنَيْنِ فَتَغَشَّتْهُ سَحَابَةٌ فَجَعَلَتْ تَدُورُ وَتَدْنُو وَجَعَلَ فَرَسُهُ يَنْفِرُ مِنْهَا فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ " تِلْكَ السَّكِينَةُ تَنَزَّلَتْ لِلْقُرْآنِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Al-Bara' reported that a person was reciting Surat al-Kahf and there was a horse tied with two ropes at his side, a cloud overshadowed him, and as it began to come nearer and nearer his horse began to take fright from it. He went and mentioned that to the Prophet (ﷺ) in the morning, and he (the Holy Prophet) said:That was tranquillity which came down at the recitation of the Qur'an
Traduction en ourdou
ابو خثیمہ نے ابو اسحاق سے اور انھوں نے حضرت بر اء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : ایک آدمی سورہ کہف کی تلاوت کررہاتھا اور اس کے پاس ہی دو رسیوں میں بندھا ہواگھوڑا ( موجود ) تھا ۔ تو اسے ایک بدلی نے ڈھانپ لیا ۔
