Hadith 7213 — Livre 53: The Book of Paradise, its Description, its Bounties and its Inhabitants

Rapporté par Abu Sa’id al-Khudri : Je n’ai pas entendu ce hadith directement du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, mais c’est Zaid b. Thabit qui me l’a rapporté de lui. Alors que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ se dirigeait avec nous vers les habitations des Bani an-Najjar, monté sur sa mule, elle s’est cabrée et il a failli tomber. Il a trouvé quatre, cinq ou six tombes là-bas. Il a demandé : « Qui parmi vous connaît ceux qui sont enterrés ici ? » Quelqu’un a répondu : « Moi. » Il a demandé : « Dans quel état sont-ils morts ? » Il a répondu : « Ils sont morts polythéistes. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Ces gens subissent l’épreuve dans leurs tombes. Si je ne craignais pas que vous arrêtiez d’enterrer vos morts après avoir entendu le châtiment que j’entends, je vous le ferais entendre. » Puis, se tournant vers nous, il a dit : « Cherchez refuge auprès d’Allah contre le châtiment de l’Enfer. » Ils dirent : « Nous cherchons refuge auprès d’Allah contre le châtiment de l’Enfer. » Il dit : « Cherchez refuge auprès d’Allah contre le châtiment de la tombe. » Ils dirent : « Nous cherchons refuge auprès d’Allah contre le châtiment de la tombe. » Il dit : « Cherchez refuge auprès d’Allah contre les troubles, visibles et cachés. » Ils dirent : « Nous cherchons refuge auprès d’Allah contre les troubles, visibles et cachés. » Il dit : « Cherchez refuge auprès d’Allah contre l’épreuve du Dajjal. » Ils dirent : « Nous cherchons refuge auprès d’Allah contre l’épreuve du Dajjal. »

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ جَمِيعًا عَنِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ ابْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ وَلَمْ أَشْهَدْهُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَكِنْ حَدَّثَنِيهِ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي حَائِطٍ لِبَنِي النَّجَّارِ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ لَهُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ إِذْ حَادَتْ بِهِ فَكَادَتْ تُلْقِيهِ وَإِذَا أَقْبُرٌ سِتَّةٌ أَوْ خَمْسَةٌ أَوْ أَرْبَعَةٌ - قَالَ كَذَا كَانَ يَقُولُ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ - فَقَالَ " مَنْ يَعْرِفُ أَصْحَابَ هَذِهِ الأَقْبُرِ " . فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا . قَالَ " فَمَتَى مَاتَ هَؤُلاَءِ " . قَالَ مَاتُوا فِي الإِشْرَاكِ . فَقَالَ " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةَ تُبْتَلَى فِي قُبُورِهَا فَلَوْلاَ أَنْ لاَ تَدَافَنُوا لَدَعَوْتُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُسْمِعَكُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ الَّذِي أَسْمَعُ مِنْهُ " . ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا بِوَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ " تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ " . قَالُوا نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ فَقَالَ " تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " . قَالُوا نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ . قَالَ " تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ " . قَالُوا نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ قَالَ " تَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ " . قَالُوا نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported:I did not hear this hadith from Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) directly but it was Zaid b. Thabit who narrated it from him. As Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) was going along with us towards the dwellings of Bani an-Najjar, riding upon his pony, it shied and he was about to fall. He found four, five or six graves there. He said: Who amongst you knows about those lying in the graves? A person said: It is I. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: In what state did they die? He said: They died as polytheists. He said: These people are passing through the ordeal in the graves. If it were not the reason that you would stop burying (your dead) in the graves on listening to the torment in the grave which I am listening to, I would have certainly made you hear that. Then turning his face towards us, he said: Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of Hell. They said: We seek refuge with Allah from the torment of Hell. He said: Seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave. They said: We seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave. He said: Seek refuge with Allah from turmoil, its visible and invisible (aspects), and they said: We seek refuge with Allah from turmoil and its visible and invisible aspects and he said: Seek refuge with Allah from the turmoil of the Dajjal, and they said We seek refuge with Allah from the turmoil of the Dajjal

ابن علیہ نے کہا : ہمیں سعید جریری نے ابو نضرہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، ( ابو نضرہ نے ) کہا : حضرت ابو سعید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : میں نے یہ حدیث رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے روبرو حاضر ہوکر نہیں سنی ، بلکہ مجھےحضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : ایک دفعہ جب نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بنونجار کے ایک باغ میں اپنے خچر پر سوار تھے ، ہم آپ کے ساتھ تھے کہ اچانک وہ بدک گیا وہ آپ کو گرانے لگا تھا ( دیکھا تو ) وہاں چھ یا پانچ یا چار قبریں تھیں ( ابن علیہ نے ) کہا : جریری اسی طرح کہا کرتے تھے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" ان قبروں والوں کو کو ن جانتاہے؟ "" ایک آدمی نے کہا : میں ، آپ نے فرمایا : "" یہ لو گ کب مرے تھے؟اس نے کہا : شرک ( کے عالم ) میں مرے تھے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" یہ لو گ اپنی قبروں میں مبتلائے عذاب ہیں اگر یہ خدشہ نہ ہوتا کہ تم ( اپنے مردوں کو ) دفن نہ کرو گےتو میں اللہ سے دعا کرتا کہ قبر کے جس عذاب ( کی آوازوں ) کومیں سن رہا ہوں وہ تمھیں بھی سنادے ۔ "" پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہماری طرف رخ انور پھیرا اور فرمایا : "" آگ کے عذاب سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو ۔ "" سب نے کہا ہم آگ کے عذاب سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتے ہیں پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" قبر کے عذاب سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو ۔ "" سب نے کہا : ہم قبر کے عذاب سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتے ہیں پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا "" ( تمام ) فتنوں سے جوان میں سے ظاہر ہیں اور جو پوشیدہ ہیں اللہ کی پناہ مانگو ۔ "" سب نے کہا : ہم فتنوں سے جو ظاہر ہیں اور پوشیدہ ہیں اللہ کی پناہ میں آتے ہیں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" دجال کے فتنے سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو ۔ "" سب نے کہا : ہم دجال کے فتنے سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتے ہیں ۔
