Rapporté par Aïsha (l’épouse du Messager d’Allah ﷺ) رضي الله عنها : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ disait : « Soyez modérés dans vos actions, et si vous n’y arrivez pas parfaitement, faites de votre mieux pour vous en approcher et soyez heureux, car personne ne pourra entrer au Paradis uniquement grâce à ses actions. » Les Compagnons ont demandé : « Ô Messager d’Allah, même toi ? » Il a répondu : « Même moi, sauf si Allah m’enveloppe de Sa miséricorde. » Et souvenez-vous que l’action la plus aimée d’Allah est celle qui est faite régulièrement, même si elle est petite

وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ، عُقْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدًا عَمَلُهُ " . قَالُوا وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " وَلاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ " .
Traduction anglaise
A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to say:Observe moderation (in doing deeds), and if you fail to observe it perfectly, try to do as much as you can do (to live up to this ideal of moderation) and be happy for none would be able to get into Paradise because of his deeds alone. They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: Allah's Messenger, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah wraps me in His Mercy, and bear this in mind that the deed loved most by Allah is one which is done constantly even though it is small

عبد العزیزبن محمد اور وہیب نے کہا : ہمیں موسیٰ بن عقبہ نے حدیث بیان کی انھوں نے کہا : میں نے ابو سلمہ بن عبد الرحمٰن بن عوف کو حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا ، وہ کہا کرتی تھیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " صحیح عمل کرو ( اعلی ترین معیار کے ) قریب تر رہواور ( اللہ کی رحمت کی ) خوش خبری ( کی امید ) رکھو ۔ حقیقت یہی ہے کہ کسی کو اس کا عمل ہر گز جنت میں داخل نہیں کرے گا ۔ " صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !آپ کو بھی نہیں؟فرمایا : " مجھے بھی نہیں الایہ کہ اللہ مجھے اپنی رحمت سے ڈھانپ لے اور جان رکھو کہ اللہ کے نزدیک محبوب ترین عمل وہ ہے جو ہمیشہ کیا جائے چاہے کم ہو ۔
