Hadith 6994 — Livre 50: The Book of Repentance
كتاب التوبة
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Personne n’aime sa propre louange plus qu’Allah, le Très-Haut et Glorieux. C’est pour cela qu’Il s’est loué Lui-même. Personne n’est plus pudique qu’Allah, et c’est pour cela qu’Il a interdit les actes abominables. Et il n’y a personne qui accepte plus volontiers les excuses des gens qu’Allah Lui-même, et c’est pour cela qu’Il a révélé le Livre et envoyé les Messagers. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَدْحُ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ مَدَحَ نَفْسَهُ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ الْعُذْرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ أَنْزَلَ الْكِتَابَ وَأَرْسَلَ الرُّسُلَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:None loves one's own praise more than Allah, the Exalted and Glurious, does. It is because of this that He has praised Himself, and none is more self-respecting than Allah and it is because of this that He has prohibited abominable acts and there is none who is more anxious to accept the apologies of the people than Allah Himself and it is because of this that He has revealed the Book and sent the Messengers
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن یزید نے حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " کوئی نہیں جسے اللہ سے بڑھ کر مدح پسند ہو ، اسی بنا پر اس نے اپنی مدح فرمائی اور کوئی نہیں جو اللہ سے بڑھ کر غیرت مند ہو ، اسی بنا پر اس نے تمام فواحش حرام کر دیں اور کوئی نہیں جسے اللہ سے بڑھ کر ( بندوں کا اس سے ) معذرت کرنا پسند ہو ، اسی بنا پر اس نے کتاب نازل فرمائی اور پیغمبروں کو بھیجا ۔
