Rapporté par ‘Asim : J’ai entendu Anas dire : « Jamais je n’ai vu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ aussi attristé par la perte d’un petit groupe que je l’ai vu attristé pour ces soixante-dix hommes qu’on appelait “les lecteurs” (et qui ont été tués) à Bi’r Ma’una ; il a invoqué la malédiction contre leurs meurtriers pendant un mois entier. »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا، يَقُولُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَجَدَ عَلَى سَرِيَّةٍ مَا وَجَدَ عَلَى السَّبْعِينَ الَّذِينَ أُصِيبُوا يَوْمَ بِئْرِ مَعُونَةَ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ الْقُرَّاءَ فَمَكَثَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى قَتَلَتِهِمْ .
Traduction anglaise
Asim reported - I heard Anas saying:Never did I ace the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) so much grieved (at the loss of a) small army as I saw him grieved at those seventy men who were called" reciters" (and were killed) at Bi'r Ma'una; and he invoked curse for full one month upon their murderers
Traduction en ourdou
سفیان نے عاصم سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے انس رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ کو کسی اور جنگ پر اتنا غم محسوس ہوا ہو جتنا ان ستر ( ساتھیوں ) پر ہوا جو بئر معونہ کے واقعے کے روز شہید کیے گئے ، انھیں قراء کہا جاتا تھا ، آپ ایک مہینے تک ان کے قالوں کے خلاف بد دعا کرتے رہے ۔
