Rapporté par ‘Abdullah : Un homme vint voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et lui demanda : « Que penses-tu de la personne qui aime des gens, mais dont les actes ne sont pas semblables aux leurs ? » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ répondit : « Une personne sera avec celui qu’elle aime. »

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ، عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي رَجُلٍ أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah reported that a person came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ):What is your opinion about the person who loves the people but his (acts or deeds are not identical to theirs)? Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: A person would be along with one whom he loves
Traduction en ourdou
جریر نے ( سلیمان ) اعمش سے ، انہوں نے ابووائل سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ ( بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ ) سے روایت کی ، کہا : ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا ، اس نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول! آپ اس شخص کو کیسے دیکھتے ہیں جو کسی قوم سے محبت کرتا ہے مگر ابھی تک اس کے ساتھ نہیں ملا؟ ( اعمال میں ان سے بہت پیچھے ہے ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " آدمی اسی کے ساتھ ہو گا جس سے وہ محبت کرتا ہے ۔
