Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : « Un homme a dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah, j’ai des proches avec qui j’essaie de garder de bons liens, mais eux les rompent. Je les traite bien, mais eux me maltraitent. Je suis doux avec eux, mais ils sont durs envers moi.” Le Prophète ﷺ a répondu : “Si ce que tu dis est vrai, alors c’est comme si tu leur jetais de la cendre chaude au visage. Et tant que tu restes sur cette voie, il y aura toujours un ange de la part d’Allah pour te soutenir et te donner le dessus sur eux.” »

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْعَلاَءَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي، هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي قَرَابَةً أَصِلُهُمْ وَيَقْطَعُونِي وَأُحْسِنُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَيُسِيئُونَ إِلَىَّ وَأَحْلُمُ عَنْهُمْ وَيَجْهَلُونَ عَلَىَّ . فَقَالَ " لَئِنْ كُنْتَ كَمَا قُلْتَ فَكَأَنَّمَا تُسِفُّهُمُ الْمَلَّ وَلاَ يَزَالُ مَعَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ ظَهِيرٌ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا دُمْتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported that a person said:Allah's Messenger, I have relatives with whom I try, to have close relationship, but they sever (this relation). I treat them well, but they treat me ill. I am sweet to them but they are harsh towards me. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) said: If it is so as you say, then you in fact throw hot ashes (upon their faces) and there would always remain with you on behalf of Allah (an Angel to support you) who would keep you dominant over them so long as you adhere to this (path of righteousness)
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کی : اللہ کے رسول! میرے ( بعض ) رشتہ دار ہیں ، میں ان سے تعلق جوڑتا ہوں اور وہ مجھ سے تعلق توڑتے ہیں ، میں ان کے ساتھ نیکی کرتا ہوں اور وہ میرے ساتھ برائی کرتے ہیں ، میں بردباری کے ساتھ ان سے درگزر کرتا ہوں اور وہ میرے ساتھ جہالت کا سلوک کرتے ہیں ، آپ نے فرمایا : " اگر تم ایسے ہی ہو جیسے تم نے کہا ہے تو تم ان کو جلتی راکھ کھلا رہے ہو اور جب تک تم اس روش پر رہو گے ، ان کے مقابلے میں اللہ کی طرف سے ہمیشہ ایک مددگار تمہارے ساتھ رہے گا ۔
