Hadith 6389 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Hisham, d’après son père رضي الله عنه : Hassan ibn Thabit a beaucoup parlé à propos de ‘Aïsha رضي الله عنها. Je l’ai réprimandé, mais elle a dit : « Mon neveu, laisse-le, car il a défendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ حَسَّانَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ، كَانَ مِمَّنْ كَثَّرَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَسَبَبْتُهُ فَقَالَتْ يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي دَعْهُ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يُنَافِحُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
Traduction anglaise
Hisham reported on the authority of his father that Hassan b. Thabit talked much about 'A'isha. I scolded him, whereupon she said:My nephew, leave him for he defended Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)

ابو اسامہ نے ہشام ( بن عروہ ) سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی کہ حضرت حسان بن ثابت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جنھوں نے ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے متعلق بہت کچھ کہا تھا ( تہمت لگانے والوں کے ساتھ شامل ہوگئے تھے ) ، میں نے ان کو برا بھلا کہا توحضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے فرمایا : بھتیجے!ان کو کچھ نہ کہو ، کیونکہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف سے کافروں کو جواب دیتے تھے ۔
