كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Anas ibn Malik : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a reçu un vêtement de sundus et il a interdit l’usage de la soie. Les gens l’ont admiré, alors il a dit : « Par Celui qui détient la vie de Muhammad dans Sa main, les mouchoirs de Sa’d ibn Mu’adh au Paradis sont meilleurs que cela. »

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم جُبَّةٌ مِنْ سُنْدُسٍ وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ مَنَادِيلَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Anas b Malik reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was presented a garment of sundus and he prohibited the use of silk. The persons admired it, whereupon he said:By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, the kerchiefs of Sa'd b. Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this
Traduction en ourdou
شیبان نے قتادہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : ہمیں حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حدیث بیان کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سندس ( باریک ریشم ) کا ایک جبہ ہدیہ کیاگیا ، حالانکہ آپ ریشم ( پہننے ) سے منع فرماتے تھے ، لوگوں کو اس ( کی خوبصورتی ) سے تعجب ہوا ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " اس ذات کی قسم جس کےہاتھ میں محمد کی جان ہے!جنت میں سعد بن معاذ کے رومال اس سے زیادہ اچھے ہیں ۔
