Hadith 6228 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Yazid b. Hayyan : Nous sommes allés voir Zaid b. Arqam et lui avons dit : « Tu as eu la chance de vivre en compagnie du Messager d’Allah ﷺ et de prier derrière lui. » Le reste du hadith est le même, mais avec cette variante : il a dit : « Sachez que je laisse parmi vous deux choses précieuses, dont l’une est le Livre d’Allah, le Très-Haut, qui est la corde d’Allah. Celui qui s’y attache est bien guidé, et celui qui l’abandonne s’égare. » Et dans ce hadith, on trouve aussi ces mots : « Nous avons demandé : Qui sont les membres de la famille ? Les femmes du Prophète n’en font-elles pas partie ? » Il répondit : « Non, par Allah, une femme vit avec un homme un certain temps, puis il la divorce et elle retourne chez ses parents. Les membres de sa famille sont lui-même et ses proches par le sang, et pour eux, il est interdit d’accepter la zakat. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ - عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتَ خَيْرًا . لَقَدْ صَاحَبْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَصَلَّيْتَ خَلْفَهُ . وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي حَيَّانَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " أَلاَ وَإِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ ثَقَلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا كِتَابُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هُوَ حَبْلُ اللَّهِ مَنِ اتَّبَعَهُ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَى وَمَنْ تَرَكَهُ كَانَ عَلَى ضَلاَلَةٍ " . وَفِيهِ فَقُلْنَا مَنْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ نِسَاؤُهُ قَالَ لاَ وَايْمُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ تَكُونُ مَعَ الرَّجُلِ الْعَصْرَ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا فَتَرْجِعُ إِلَى أَبِيهَا وَقَوْمِهَا أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ أَصْلُهُ وَعَصَبَتُهُ الَّذِينَ حُرِمُوا الصَّدَقَةَ بَعْدَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Yazid b. Hayyan reported:We went to him (Zaid b. Arqam) and said to him. You have found goodness (for you had the honour) to live in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and offered prayer behind him, and the rest of the hadith is the same but with this variation of wording that lie said: Behold, for I am leaving amongst you two weighty things, one of which is the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, and that is the rope of Allah. He who holds it fast would be on right guidance and he who abandons it would be in error, and in this (hadith) these words are also found: We said: Who are amongst the members of the household? Aren't the wives (of the Holy Prophet) included amongst the members of his house hold? Thereupon he said: No, by Allah, a woman lives with a man (as his wife) for a certain period; he then divorces her and she goes back to her parents and to her people; the members of his household include his ownself and his kith and kin (who are related to him by blood) and for him the acceptance of Zakat is prohibited

سعید بن مسروق نے یزید بن حیان سے ، انھوں نے زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : ہم ان ( زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) کے پاس آئے اور اُن سے عرض کی : آپ نے بہت خیر دیکھی ہے ۔ آپ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ رہے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نمازیں پڑھیں ہیں ، اور پھر ابو حیان کی حدیث کی طرح حدیث بیان کی ، مگرانھوں نے ( اس طرح ) کہا : ( رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ) " دیکھو ، میں تمھارے درمیان دو عظیم چیزیں چھوڑے جارہا ہوں ۔ ایک اللہ کی کتاب ہے وہ اللہ کی رسی ہے جس نے ( اسے تھام کر ) اس کا اتباع کیا وہ سیدھی راہ پر رہے گا اور جو اسے چھوڑ دے گا وہ گمراہی پر ہوگا ۔ " اور اس میں یہ بھی ہے کہ ہم نے ان سے پوچھا : آپ کے اہل بیت کون ہیں؟ ( صرف ) آپ کی ازواج؟انھوں نے کہا : نہیں ، اللہ کی قسم!عورت اپنے مرد کے ساتھ زمانے کا بڑا حصہ رہتی ہے ، پھر وہ اسے طلاق دے دیتا ہے تو وہ اپنے باپ اور اپنی قوم کی طرف واپس چلی جاتی ہے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد آپ کے اہل بیت وہ ( بھی ) ہیں جو آپ کے خاندان سے ہیں ، آپ کے وہ ددھیال رشتہ دار جن پر صدقہ حرام ہے ۔
