Hadith 6220 — Livre 44: The Book of the Merits of the Companions
كتاب فضائل الصحابة
Rapporté par Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas, d'après son père : Muawiya b. Abi Sufyan nomma Sa'd gouverneur et lui dit : « Qu'est-ce qui t'empêche de réprimander Abu Turab (c'est-à-dire 'Ali) ? » Il répondit : « C'est à cause de trois choses dont je me souviens que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dites à son sujet, et à cause desquelles je ne le réprimanderai jamais. Même si je n'avais qu'une seule de ces trois choses, cela me serait plus cher que des chameaux rouges. J'ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ dire à propos de 'Ali, alors qu’il l’avait laissé derrière lui lors d’une de ses expéditions (celle de Tabuk). 'Ali lui avait dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah, tu me laisses avec les femmes et les enfants ?” Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui répondit : “N’es-tu pas satisfait d’être pour moi ce que Haroun était pour Moussa, à ceci près qu’il n’y aura pas de prophète après moi ?” Et je l’ai aussi entendu dire, le jour de Khaybar : “Je donnerai assurément ce drapeau à un homme qui aime Allah et Son Messager, et Allah et Son Messager l’aiment aussi.” Nous attendions tous avec impatience, puis il dit : “Appelez 'Ali.” On l’appela, mais il avait les yeux enflammés. Le Prophète ﷺ mit de la salive sur ses yeux, lui remit le drapeau et Allah lui accorda la victoire. (La troisième occasion est celle-ci) : lorsque ce verset fut révélé : “Appelons nos enfants et vos enfants.” Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ appela 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan et Husayn et dit : “Ô Allah, ce sont les miens.” »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، - وَتَقَارَبَا فِي اللَّفْظِ - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ - عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مِسْمَارٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ أَمَرَ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ سَعْدًا فَقَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَسُبَّ أَبَا التُّرَابِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا مَا ذَكَرْتُ ثَلاَثًا قَالَهُنَّ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَنْ أَسُبَّهُ لأَنْ تَكُونَ لِي وَاحِدَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِنْ حُمْرِ النَّعَمِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ لَهُ خَلَّفَهُ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَلِيٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ خَلَّفْتَنِي مَعَ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ لاَ نُبُوَّةَ بَعْدِي " . وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ " لأُعْطِيَنَّ الرَّايَةَ رَجُلاً يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ " . قَالَ فَتَطَاوَلْنَا لَهَا فَقَالَ " ادْعُوا لِي عَلِيًّا " . فَأُتِيَ بِهِ أَرْمَدَ فَبَصَقَ فِي عَيْنِهِ وَدَفَعَ الرَّايَةَ إِلَيْهِ فَفَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ { فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَأَبْنَاءَكُمْ} دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلِيًّا وَفَاطِمَةَ وَحَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ هَؤُلاَءِ أَهْلِي " .
Traduction anglaise
Amir b. Sa'd b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyan appointed Sa'd as the Governor and said:What prevents you from rebuking Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said about him that I would not rebuke him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camels. I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say about 'Ali as he left him behind in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'Ali said to him: Allah's Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to him: Aren't you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger, and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We had been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: "Let us summon our children and your children." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family

بکیر بن مسمار نے عامر بن سعد بن ابی وقاص سے ، انھوں نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی کہ حضرت معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حضرت سعد رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو حکم دیا ، کہا : آپ کو اس سے کیا چیز روکتی ہے کہ آپ ابوتراب ( حضرت علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) کو براکہیں ۔ انھوں نے جواب دیا : جب تک مجھے وہ تین باتیں یاد ہیں جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان ( حضر ت علی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) سے کہی تھیں ، میں ہرگز انھیں برا نہیں کہوں گا ۔ ان میں سے کوئی ایک بات بھی میرے لئے ہوتو وہ مجھے سرخ اونٹوں سے زیادہ پسند ہوگی ، میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سناتھا ، آپ ان سے ( اس وقت ) کہہ رہے تھے جب آپ ایک جنگ میں ان کو پیچھے چھوڑ کر جارہے تھے اور علی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ان سے کہا تھا : اللہ کےرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !آپ مجھے عورتوں اوربچوں میں پیچھے چھوڑ کرجارہے ہیں؟تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا : " تمھیں یہ پسند نہیں کہ تمھارا میرے ساتھ وہی مقام ہو جوحضرت ہارون علیہ السلام کاموسیٰ علیہ السلام کےساتھ تھا ، مگر یہ کہ میرے بعد نبوت نہیں ہے ۔ " اسی طرح خیبر کے دن میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سناتھا : " اب میں جھنڈ ا اس شخص کو دوں گا جو اللہ اوراس کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! سے محبت کرتا ہے اور اللہ اور اس کا ر سول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس سے محبت کرتے ہیں ۔ " کہا : پھر ہم نے اس بات ( مصداق جاننے ) کے لئے اپنی گردنیں اٹھا اٹھا کر ( ہرطرف ) دیکھا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " علی کو میرے پاس بلاؤ ۔ " انھیں شدید آشوب چشم کی حالت میں لایا گیا ۔ آپ نےان کی آنکھوں میں اپنا لعاب دہن لگایا اورجھنڈا انھیں عطافرمادیا ۔ اللہ نے ان کے ہاتھ پر خیبر فتح کردیا ۔ اورجب یہ آیت اتری : " ( تو آپ کہہ دیں : آؤ ) ہم اپنے بیٹوں اور تمھارے بیٹوں کو بلالیں ۔ " تورسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضر ت علی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ، حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ، حضرت حسن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ، اورحضرت حسین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو بلایا اور فرمایا : " اے اللہ! یہ میرے گھر والے ہیں ۔
