Rapporté par Aïcha رضي الله عنها : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Parmi les peuples avant vous, il y avait des personnes inspirées. S’il y en avait dans ma communauté, Umar ibn Khattab en ferait partie. » Ibn Wahb a expliqué le mot « Muhaddathun » comme ceux qui reçoivent des inspirations d’en haut (« Mulhamun »)

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَرْحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ " قَدْ كَانَ يَكُونُ فِي الأُمَمِ قَبْلَكُمْ مُحَدَّثُونَ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ فِي أُمَّتِي مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ مِنْهُمْ " . قَالَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ تَفْسِيرُ مُحَدَّثُونَ مُلْهَمُونَ .
Traduction anglaise
A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:There had been among the people before you inspired persons and if there were any such among my Umma Umar b. Khattab would be one of them. Ibn Wahb explained the word Muhaddathun as those who receive hint from the High (Mulhamun)
Traduction en ourdou
ابرا ہیم سعد نے اپنے والد سعد بن ابرا ہیم سے ، انھوں نے ابو سلمہ سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے اور انھوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی ، کہ آپ نے فر ما یا کرتے تھے ۔ " تم سے پہلے کی امتوں میں ایسے لوگ تھے جن سے بات کی جا تی تھیں اگر ان میں سے کو ئی میری امت میں ہے تو عمر خطاب انھی میں سے ہے ۔ " ابن وہب نے کہا : مُحَدَّثُونَکا مطلب ہے جن پر الہام کیا جا تا ہو ۔
