Rapporté par Abdullah رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Si je devais choisir quelqu’un de ma communauté comme ami intime, j’aurais choisi Abu Bakr. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لاِبْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ، بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَحَدًا خَلِيلاً لاَتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:If I were to choose from my Umma anyone as my bosom friend, I would have chosen Abu Bakr

شعبہ نے ابو اسحاق سے ، انھوں نے ابو احوص سے ، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " اگر میں اپنی امت میں سے کسی کو اپنا خلیل بناتا تو ابو بکر کو بناتا ۔
