Rapporté par Sa’id b. Jubair : On dit à Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه que Nauf al-Bikali pensait que Moussa qui était parti chercher la connaissance n’était pas le Moussa des Bani Isra’il. Il demanda : « Sa’id, l’as-tu entendu de sa bouche ? » Je répondis : « Oui. » Il dit alors que Nauf ne disait pas la vérité

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الْقَيْسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَقَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ قِيلَ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ نَوْفًا يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ مُوسَى الَّذِي ذَهَبَ يَلْتَمِسُ الْعِلْمَ لَيْسَ بِمُوسَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ . قَالَ أَسَمِعْتَهُ يَا سَعِيدُ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ . قَالَ كَذَبَ نَوْفٌ .
Traduction anglaise
Sa, id b. jubair reported that it was said to Ibn 'Abbas that Nauf al-Bikali was of the opinion that Moses who went in search of knowledge was not the Moses of Bani Isra'il. He said:Sa'id, did you hear it from him? I said: Yes. Thereupon he said that Nauf had not stated the fact
Traduction en ourdou
۔ معتمر کے والد سلیمان تیمی نے رقبہ سے ، انھوں نے ابو اسحق سے انھوں نے سعید بن جبیر سے روایت کی ، کہا : حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے کہا گیا کہ نوف سمجھتا ہے ۔ کہ جو موسیٰ علیہ السلام علم کے حصول کے لئے گئے تھے وہ بنی اسرائیل کے موسیٰ علیہ السلام نہ تھے ، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : سعید!کیا آپ نے خود اس سے سنا ہے؟میں نے کہا : جی ہاں ، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا : نوف نے جھوٹ کہا ۔
