Hadith 977 — Livre 4: The Book of Prayers
كتاب الصلاة
Rapporté par Hammam b. Munabbih رضي الله عنه : Voici ce qu’Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه nous a transmis du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et en mentionnant quelques hadiths, il a dit : (Le Messager d’Allah nous a ordonné ainsi) : « Formez des rangs pendant la prière, car bien aligner le rang fait partie des qualités de la prière. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ " أَقِيمُوا الصَّفَّ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ إِقَامَةَ الصَّفِّ مِنْ حُسْنِ الصَّلاَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Hammam b. Munabbih reported:This is what was transmitted to us by Abu Huraira from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and, while making a mention of a few ahadith, said: (The Messengerof Allah directed us thus): Establish rows in prayer, for the making of a row (straight) is one of the merits of prayer

ہمام بن منبہ نے کہا : یہ ہے جو ہمیں حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہﷺ سے بیان کیا ، پھر انہوں نے ان میں سے متعدد احادیث بیان کیں اور کہا : ’’نماز میں صف سیدھی رکھو کیونکہ صف کو سیدھا رکھنا نماز کے حسن ( ادائیگی ) کا حصہ ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
