Hadith 5681 — Livre 39: The Book of Greetings

Rapporté par Abu Waqid al-Laithi رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ était assis dans la mosquée avec quelques personnes quand trois hommes sont venus vers lui. Deux d’entre eux s’avancèrent vers le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et le troisième s’en alla. L’un des deux trouva une place dans le cercle et s’y assit, l’autre s’assit derrière, et le troisième partit. Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ eut terminé, il dit : « Voulez-vous que je vous parle de ces trois personnes ? L’un d’eux a cherché refuge auprès d’Allah et Allah l’a protégé ; le deuxième a eu honte et Allah a eu pitié de sa pudeur (et il a été accueilli dans l’assemblée) ; quant au dernier, il s’est détourné et Allah s’est détourné de lui. »

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، فِيمَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ، اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا مُرَّةَ، مَوْلَى عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ، أَنَّالله عليه وسلم بَيْنَمَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَالنَّاسُ مَعَهُ إِذْ أَقْبَلَ نَفَرٌ ثَلاَثَةٌ فَأَقْبَلَ اثْنَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَذَهَبَ وَاحِدٌ . قَالَ فَوَقَفَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَرَأَى فُرْجَةً فِي الْحَلْقَةِ فَجَلَسَ فِيهَا وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ فَجَلَسَ خَلْفَهُمْ وَأَمَّا الثَّالِثُ فَأَدْبَرَ ذَاهِبًا فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنِ النَّفَرِ الثَّلاَثَةِ أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمْ فَأَوَى إِلَى اللَّهِ فَآوَاهُ اللَّهُ وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ فَاسْتَحْيَا فَاسْتَحْيَا اللَّهُ مِنْهُ وَأَمَّا الآخَرُ فَأَعْرَضَ فَأَعْرَضَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Waqid al-Laith reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was sitting in the mosque along wish tome people when there came to him three persons; two of them stepped forward to the direction of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and one of them went away. The two stood by the side of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and one of them found a space in his circle and he sat in that; and the other one sat behind him and the third one went away. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had finished his work, he said. Should I not inform you about these three persons? One of them sought refuge with Allah and Allah gave him refuge and the second one felt shy and Allah showed kindness to has shyness (and so he was accommodated in that meeting), and the last one reverted and Allah turned away His attention from him
Traduction en ourdou
امام مالک بن انس نے اسحاق بن عبداللہ بن ابی طلحہ سےروایت کی کہ عقیل بن ابی طالب کے آذاد کردہ غلام ابو مرہ نے انھیں حضرت ابو واقد لیثی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہوئے خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں بیٹھے تھے اور لوگ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے ، اتنے میں تین آدمی آئے ، دو تو سیدھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور ایک چلا گیا ۔ وہ دو جو آئے ان میں سے ایک نے مجلس میں جگہ خالی پائی تو وہ وہاں بیٹھ گیا اور دوسرا لوگوں کے پیچھے بیٹھا اور تیسرا تو پیٹھ پھیر کر چل دیا ۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا کیا میں تم سے تین آدمیوں کا حال نہ کہوں؟ ایک نے تو اللہ کے پاس ٹھکانہ لیا تو اللہ نے اس کو جگہ دی اور دوسرے نے ( لوگوں میں گھسنے کی ) شرم کی تو اللہ نے بھی اس سے شرم کی اور تیسرے نے منہ پھیرا تو اللہ نے بھی اس سے منہ پھیر لیا ۔
