كتاب اللباس والزينة
Rapporté par Sa'id b. Musayyib : Mu'awiya est venu à Médine, il nous a adressé un discours et a sorti une mèche de cheveux en disant : « Pourquoi certains d’entre vous font-ils ce que faisaient les Juifs ? Je me souviens que lorsque cet acte (ajouter des cheveux artificiels) est parvenu au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, il l’a qualifié de tromperie. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، قَالَ قَدِمَ مُعَاوِيَةُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَخَطَبَنَا وَأَخْرَجَ كُبَّةً مِنْ شَعَرٍ فَقَالَ مَا كُنْتُ أُرَى أَنَّ أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُهُ إِلاَّ الْيَهُودَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَلَغَهُ فَسَمَّاهُ الزُّورَ .
Traduction anglaise
Sa'id b. Musayyib reported:Mu'awiya came to Medina and he addressed us and he took out a bunch of hair and said: What do I see that one of you does but that what the Jews did? (I can well recall) that when this act (adding of artificial hair) reached Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), he named it as cheating
Traduction en ourdou
عمرو بن مرہ نے سعید بن مسیب سے روایت کی ، کہا : حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ مدینے آئے ، ہمیں خطبہ دیا اور بالوں کاایک گچھہ نکال کرفرمایا : میں نہیں سمجھتا تھا کہ یہود کے علاوہ کوئی اور بھی ایسا کرتا ہے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس کی خبر پہنچی تو آپ نے اس کو جھوٹ ( فریب کاری ) کا نام دیا تھا ۔
