Rapporté par Jabir : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « N’offrez en sacrifice qu’un animal adulte, sauf si cela devient difficile pour vous ; dans ce cas, vous pouvez sacrifier un bélier de plus de six mois. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَذْبَحُوا إِلاَّ مُسِنَّةً إِلاَّ أَنْ يَعْسُرَ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَذْبَحُوا جَذَعَةً مِنَ الضَّأْنِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Sacrifice only a grown-up animal, unless it is difficult for you, in which case sacrifice a ram (of even less than a year, but more than six months' age)
Traduction en ourdou
حضرت جا بر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : صرف مسنہ ( دودانتا ) جا نور کی قربانی کرو ہاں ! اگر تم کو دشوار ہو تو ایک سالہ دنبہ یا مینڈھا ذبح کر دو ۔
