Hadith 5029 — Livre 34: The Book of Hunting, Slaughter, and what may be Eaten
كتاب الصيد والذبائح
Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنه alors qu’il était assis sur la chaire : Quelqu’un a demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, alors qu’il était assis sur le minbar, au sujet de la consommation du lézard. Il a répondu : « Je n’en mange pas, mais je ne l’interdis pas non plus. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ عَنْ أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ " لاَ آكُلُهُ وَلاَ أُحَرِّمُهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Umar reported that a person asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as he was sitting on the pulpit about the eating of the lizard, whereupon he said:I neither eat it, nor do I prohibit it

عبد اللہ بن نمیر نے کہا : ہمیں عبید اللہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے نافع سے ، انھوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر تھے کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سانڈا کھا نے کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو آپ نے فرما یا : " میں اس کو کھاتا ہو ں نہ حرا م کرتاہوں ۔
