كتاب الصيد والذبائح
Rapporté par Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a envoyé une expédition sur la côte et j’en faisais partie. Le reste du hadith est le même, avec une petite différence : dans la version transmise par Wahb ibn Kaisan, il est dit : “L’armée a mangé de cette baleine pendant dix-huit jours.” »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَهْبَ بْنَ كَيْسَانَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَرِيَّةً أَنَا فِيهِمْ إِلَى سِيفِ الْبَحْرِ . وَسَاقُوا جَمِيعًا بَقِيَّةَ الْحَدِيثِ كَنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا الْجَيْشُ ثَمَانِيَ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent an expedition to the sea coast and I was one among them. The rest of the hadith is the same with a slight variation of wording that in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Wahb b. Kaisan (the words are):" The army ate out of that (the whale) for eighteen days
Traduction en ourdou
ولید بن کثیر نے کہا : میں نے وہب بن کیسان کو کہتے ہوئے سنا : میں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو بیان کرتے ہوئے سناکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ساحل سمندر کی جانب ایک لشکر روانہ فرمایا ، میں بھی اس لشکر میں تھا ۔ جس طرح عمرو بن دینار اور ابو زبیر کی حدیث ہے ، البتہ وہب بن کیسان کی روایت میں ہے کہ لشکر نے اٹھارہ دن تک اس ( بڑی مچھلی ) کا گوشت کھایا ۔
