Hadith 4810 — Livre 33: The Book on Government
كتاب الإمارة
Rapporté par Abu Zubair, qui a entendu Jabir être interrogé pour savoir si le Prophète ﷺ avait pris le serment d’allégeance à Dhu’l-Hulaifa : Il a répondu : « Non ! Mais il a prié à cet endroit, et il n’a pris le serment d’allégeance qu’auprès de l’arbre dans la plaine de Hudaibiya. » Ibn Juraij a dit qu’Abu Zubair lui a rapporté avoir entendu Jabir b. Abdullah dire : « Le Prophète ﷺ a prié près du puits de Hudaibiya, et l’eau, qui était peu abondante, est montée et a augmenté jusqu’à suffire aux mille quatre cents ou mille cinq cents hommes qui campaient là. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَعْوَرُ، مَوْلَى سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُجَالِدٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، يُسْأَلُ هَلْ بَايَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَقَالَ لاَ وَلَكِنْ صَلَّى بِهَا وَلَمْ يُبَايِعْ عِنْدَ شَجَرَةٍ إِلاَّ الشَّجَرَةَ الَّتِي بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ . قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى بِئْرِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
It has been narrated (through a different chain of transmitters) on the authority of Abu Zubair who heard Jabir being questioned as to whether the Prophet (ﷺ) took the oath of fealty at Dhu'l-Hulaifa. He said:No! But he offered his prayers at that place, and he administered the oath of fealty nowhere except near the tree in (the plain oo Hudaibiya. Ibn Juraij said that he was informed by Abu Zabair who heard Jabir b. Abdullah say: The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed over the well at Hudaibiya (as a result of which its scanty water rose up and increased so as to be sufficient for the 1400 or 1500 men who had encamped at the place)

مجھے ابراہیم بن دینار نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں سلیمان بن مجالد کے آزاد کردہ غلام حجاج بن محمد اعور نے حدیث سنائی ، انہوں نے کہا : ابن جریج نے کہا : مجھے ابوزبیر نے خبر دی کہ انہوں نے حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، ان سے سوال کیا گیا تھا : کیا نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ذوالحلیفہ میں بیعت لی تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا : نہیں ، البتہ آپ نے وہاں نماز پڑھی تھی اور حدیبیہ کے درخت کے سوا آپ نے کسی اور درخت کے نیچے بیعت نہیں لی ۔ ابن جریج نے کہا : انہیں ابوزبیر نے یہ بتایا کہ حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ یہ کہتے تھے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حدیبیہ کے کنویں پر دعا کی تھی
