Hadith 4758 — Livre 33: The Book on Government

Rapporté par Yahya b. Husain, qui a appris cette tradition de sa grand-mère : Elle a dit avoir entendu le Prophète ﷺ prononcer un sermon lors du dernier pèlerinage. Il disait : « Si un esclave est désigné comme responsable sur vous et qu’il gère vos affaires selon le Livre d’Allah, alors écoutez-le et obéissez-lui. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَدَّتِي، تُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ " وَلَوِ اسْتُعْمِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ يَقُودُكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَاسْمَعُوا لَهُ وَأَطِيعُوا " .
Traduction anglaise
It has been narrated on the authority of Yahya b. Husain who learnt the tradition from his grandmother. She said that she heard the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering his sermon on the occasion of the Last Pilgrimage. He was saying:If a slave is appointed over you and he conducts your affairs according to the Book of Allah, you should listen to him and obeey (his orders)

محمد بن مثنیٰ نے کہا : محمد بن جعفر نے ہمیں شعبہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے یحییٰ بن حصین سے ، انہوں نے کہا : میں نے اپنی دادی سے سنا ، وہ بیان کرتی تھیں کہ انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم حجۃ الوداع کے دوران میں خطبہ دے رہے تھے اور آپ فرما رہے تھے : " اگر تم پر ایک غلام کو حاکم بنایا جائے اور وہ کتاب اللہ کے مطابق تمہاری راہنمائی کرے تو اس کی بات سنو اور اطاعت کرو
