كتاب الجهاد والسير
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ s’est tourné vers la Ka‘ba et a invoqué contre six hommes de Quraysh, parmi lesquels Abu Jahl, Umayya b. Khalaf, Utba b. Rabi‘a, Shaiba b. Rabi‘a et ‘Uqba b. Abu Mu‘ait. Je jure par Allah que je les ai vus gisant morts sur le champ de bataille de Badr. Il faisait très chaud ce jour-là, et leur teint avait changé (montrant des signes de décomposition)

وَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ اسْتَقْبَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْبَيْتَ فَدَعَا عَلَى سِتَّةِ نَفَرٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ . فِيهِمْ أَبُو جَهْلٍ وَأُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ وَعُتْبَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَشَيْبَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَعُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مُعَيْطٍ فَأُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُمْ صَرْعَى عَلَى بَدْرٍ . قَدْ غَيَّرَتْهُمُ الشَّمْسُ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا حَارًّا .
Traduction anglaise
It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned his face towards the Ka'ba and invoked God's imprecations upon six men of the Quraish, amorig whom were Abu Jahl. Umayya b. Khalaf, Utba b. Rabi'a, Shaiba b. Rabi'a and 'Uqba b. Abu Mu'ait I swear by God that I saw them lying slain in the battlefield of Badr. It being a hot day, their complexion had changed (showing signs of decay)

زہیر نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں ابواسحاق نے عمرو بن میمون سے ، انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیت اللہ کی طرف منہ کر کے قریش کے چھ آدمیوں کے خلاف بد دعا کی ، ان میں ابوجہل ، امیہ بھی خلف ، عتبہ بن ربیعہ ، شیبہ بن ربیعہ اور عقبہ بن ابی معیط تھے ۔ میں اللہ کی قسم کھا کر کہتا ہوں : میں نے ان کو بدر ( کے میدان ) میں اوندھے پڑے ہوئے دیکھا ، دھوپ نے ان ( کے لاشوں ) کو متغیر کر دیا تھا اور وہ ایک گرم دن تھا
