كتاب الجهاد والسير
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah رضي الله عنه : Il me semblait voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ raconter l’histoire d’un Prophète qui avait été frappé par son peuple, essuyait le sang de son visage et disait : « Mon Seigneur, pardonne à mon peuple, car ils ne savent pas. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَحْكِي نَبِيًّا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ ضَرَبَهُ قَوْمُهُ وَهُوَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَيَقُولُ " رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah who said:It appeared to me as if I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (and heard him) relate the story of a Prophet who had been beaten by his people, was wiping the blood from his face and was saying. My Lord, forgive my people, for they do not know
Traduction en ourdou
محمد بن عبداللہ بن نمیر نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں وکیع نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں اعمش نے شقیق سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے عبداللہ ( بن مسعود ) رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : جیسے میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف دیکھ رہا ہوں ، آپ انبیاء میں سے ایک نبی کا واقعہ بیان فرما رہے تھے جنہیں ان کی قوم نے مارا ، وہ اپنے چہرے سے خون پونچھ رہے تھے اور ( یہ ) فرما رہے تھے : " اے اللہ! میری قوم کو معاف کر دے ، وہ نہیں جانتے ( کہ وہ کیا کر رہے ہیں)
