كتاب الجهاد والسير
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avait l’habitude de donner, à partir du butin de guerre, aux petites troupes envoyées en expédition, un peu plus que la part due à chaque combattant d’une grande armée. Et le khums (un cinquième du butin total) devait être réservé (pour Allah et Son Messager) dans tous les cas

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ اللَّيْثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلُ، بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَدْ كَانَ يُنَفِّلُ بَعْضَ مَنْ يَبْعَثُ مِنَ السَّرَايَا لأَنْفُسِهِمْ خَاصَّةً سِوَى قَسْمِ عَامَّةِ الْجَيْشِ وَالْخُمْسُ فِي ذَلِكَ وَاجِبٌ كُلِّهِ .
Traduction anglaise
It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to give (from the spoils of war) to small troops seat on expeditions something more than the due share of each fighter in a large force. And Khums (one-fifth of the total spoils) was to be reserved (for Allah and His Apostle) in all cases

عقیل بن خالد نے ابن شہاب سے ، انہوں نے سالم سے اور انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بسا اوقات عام لشکر کی تقسیم سے ہٹ کر بعض دستوں کو ، جنہیں آپ روانہ فرماتے تھے ، خصوصی طور پر ان کے لیے زائد عطیات دیتے تھے ، اور خمس ان سب مہموں میں واجب تھا
