Hadith 710 — Livre 3: The Book of Menstruation
كتاب الحيض
Rapporté par Anas b. Malik : Umm Sulaim a raconté qu’elle a demandé au Messager d’Allah ﷺ au sujet d’une femme qui voit en rêve ce qu’un homme voit (un rêve à caractère sexuel). Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Si une femme voit cela, elle doit faire le grand lavage. » Umm Sulaim a dit : « J’étais gênée à cause de cela et j’ai demandé : “Est-ce que cela arrive vraiment ?” » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ répondit : « Oui, cela arrive, sinon comment l’enfant pourrait-il ressembler à sa mère ? Le liquide de l’homme (le sperme) est épais et blanc, et celui de la femme est fin et jaune ; ainsi, la ressemblance vient de celui dont les gènes dominent. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ حَدَّثَتْ أَنَّهَا، سَأَلَتْ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا رَأَتْ ذَلِكِ الْمَرْأَةُ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ " . فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ وَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَتْ وَهَلْ يَكُونُ هَذَا فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " نَعَمْ فَمِنْ أَيْنَ يَكُونُ الشَّبَهُ إِنَّ مَاءَ الرَّجُلِ غَلِيظٌ أَبْيَضُ وَمَاءَ الْمَرْأَةِ رَقِيقٌ أَصْفَرُ فَمِنْ أَيِّهِمَا عَلاَ أَوْ سَبَقَ يَكُونُ مِنْهُ الشَّبَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Anas b. Malik reported that Umm Sulaim narrated it that she asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about a woman who sees in a dream what a man sees (sexual dream). The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon bi m) said:In case a woman sees that, she must take a bath. Umm Sulaim said: I was bashful on account of that and said: Does it happen? Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Yes (it does happen), otherwise how can (a child) resemble her? Man's discharge (i. e. sperm) is thick and white and the discharge of woman is thin and yellow; so the resemblance comes from the one whose genes prevail or dominate
Traduction en ourdou
قتادہ سےروایت ہے کہ حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں حدیث سنائی کہ ام سلیم ؓ نے ( انہیں ) بتایا کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرمﷺ سے ایسی عورت کے بارے میں پوچھا جونیند میں وہی چیز دیکھتی ہے جو مرد دیکھتا ہے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’جب عورت یہ چیز دیکھے تو غسل کرے ۔ ‘ ‘ ام المومنین حضرت ام سلمہ ؓ نے فرمایا : میں اس بات پر شرما گئی ۔ ( پھر ) آپ بولیں : کیا ایسا بھی ہوتا ہے ؟ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’ہاں ، ( ورنہ ) پھر مشابہت کیسے پیدا ہوتی ہے ؟مرد کا پانی گاڑھا سفید ہوتا ہے اور عورت کا پانی پتلا اور زرد ہوتا ہے ، ان دونوں میں سے جس ( کے حصے ) کو غلبہ مل جائے یا ( نئی تشکیل میں ) سبقت لے جائے تو اسی سے ( بچے کی ) مشابہت ہوتی ہے ۔ ‘ ‘
