Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Il faut nourrir l’esclave, l’habiller convenablement et ne pas lui demander un travail au-dessus de ses forces. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَرْحٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو، بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الأَشَجِّ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنِ الْعَجْلاَنِ، مَوْلَى فَاطِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " لِلْمَمْلُوكِ طَعَامُهُ وَكِسْوَتُهُ وَلاَ يُكَلَّفُ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ إِلاَّ مَا يُطِيقُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:It is essential to feed the slave, clothe him (properly) and not burden him with work which is beyond his power

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا : طعام اور لباس غلام کا حق ہے اور اس پر کام کی اتنی ذمہ داری نہ ڈالی جائے جو اس کے بس میں نہ ہو ۔
