Hadith 3794 — Livre 20: The Book of Emancipating Slaves
كتاب العتق
Rapporté par Ibrahim al-Taimi, d’après son père : Ali b. Abu Talib رضي الله عنه nous a adressé un discours et a dit : « Celui qui pense que nous (les membres de la famille du Prophète) lisons autre chose que le Livre d’Allah et cette Sahifa (et il dit que la Sahifa était attachée au fourreau de l’épée) ment. (Cette Sahifa) contient (des règles) concernant l’âge des chameaux et (les compensations) pour les blessures, et elle rapporte aussi ces paroles du Prophète ﷺ : “Médine est un territoire sacré de ‘Ayr à Thaur (probablement Uhud). Celui qui innove (une pratique) ou protège un innovateur, la malédiction d’Allah, de Ses anges et de toute l’humanité sera sur lui. Allah n’acceptera de lui ni acte obligatoire ni surérogatoire, et la responsabilité des musulmans est une responsabilité commune ; même le plus humble peut s’en charger pour les autres. Et celui qui prétend être le fils d’un autre que son père, ou qui prend un allié autre que celui qui l’a affranchi, la malédiction d’Allah, de Ses anges et de toute l’humanité sera sur lui. Allah n’acceptera de lui ni acte obligatoire ni surérogatoire.” »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ خَطَبَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا، شَيْئًا نَقْرَأُهُ إِلاَّ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَهَذِهِ الصَّحِيفَةَ - قَالَ وَصَحِيفَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فِي قِرَابِ سَيْفِهِ - فَقَدْ كَذَبَ . فِيهَا أَسْنَانُ الإِبِلِ وَأَشْيَاءُ مِنَ الْجِرَاحَاتِ وَفِيهَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْمَدِينَةُ حَرَمٌ مَا بَيْنَ عَيْرٍ إِلَى ثَوْرٍ فَمَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِيهَا حَدَثًا أَوْ آوَى مُحْدِثًا فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَرْفًا وَلاَ عَدْلاً وَذِمَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَاحِدَةٌ يَسْعَى بِهَا أَدْنَاهُمْ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لاَ يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَرْفًا وَلاَ عَدْلاً " .
Traduction anglaise
Ibrahim al-Taimi reported on the authority of his father:'Ali b. Abu Talib (Allah be pleased with him) addressed us and said: He who thinks that we (the members of the Prophet's family) read anything else besides the Book of Allah and this Sahifa (and he said that Sahifa was tied to the scabbard of the sword) tells a lie. (This Sahifa) contains (problems) pertaining to the ages of the camels and (the recompense) of the injuries, and it also records the words of the Prophet (ﷺ): Medina is a sacred territory from 'Ayr to Thaur (it is most probably Uhud). He who innovates (an act or practice) or gives protection to an innovator, there is a curse of Allah and that of His angels and that of the whole humanity upon him. Allah will not accdpt from him (as a recompense) any obligatory act or supererogatory act, and the responsibility of the Muslims is a joint responsibility; even the lowest in rank can undertake the responsibility (on behalf of others), and he who claims anyone else as his father besides his own father or makes one his ally other than the one (who freed him), there is a curse of Allah. that of His angels and that of the wholemankind upon him. Allah will not accept the obligatory act of the supererogatery act (as a recompense) from him

ابراہیم تیمی کے والد یزید بن شریک سے روایت ہے ، انہوں نے کہا : حضرت علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ نے ہمیں خطبہ دیا اور کہا : جس کا گمان ہے کہ ہمارے پاس کتاب اللہ اور اس صحیفے کے سوا ۔ ۔ ۔ کہا : وہ صحیفہ ان کی تلوار کی نیام سے لٹکا ہوا تھا ۔ ۔ کوئی اور چیز ہے جسے ہم پڑھتے ہیں تو وہ جھوٹا ہے ۔ اس میں ( دیت وغیرہ کے ) اونٹوں کی عمریں اور زخموں ( کی دیت ) سے متعلقہ کچھ چیزیں ( لکھی ہوئی ) ہیں ۔ اور اس میں ( یہ لکھا ہوا ہے کہ ) نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جبل عیر سے لے کر جبل ثور تک مدینہ حرم ہے ، جس نے اس میں ( گمراہی پھیلانے کی ) کوئی واردات کی یا واردات کرنے والے کسی شخص کو پناہ دی تو اس پر اللہ کی ، فرشتوں کی اور سب لوگوں کی لعنت ہے ، قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے کوئی سفارش قبول کرے گا نہ بدلہ ۔ تمام مسلمانوں کی پناہ ایک ہے ۔ ان کا ادنی آدمی بھی کسی کو پناہ دے سکتا ہے ۔ جس نے اپنے والد کے سوا کسی کی طرف نسبت کی یا ( کوئی غلام ) اپنے آزاد کرنے والے مالکوں کے سوا کسی اور کا مولیٰ بنا ، اس پر اللہ کی ، فرشتوں کی اور سب لوگوں کی لعنت ہے ، قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے کوئی سفارش قبول کرے گا نہ فدیہ
