حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، - قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، - عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ - أَوْ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ - الْخِتَانُ وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported:Five are the acts quite akin to the Fitra, or five are the acts of Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubes, cutting the nails, plucking the hair under the armpits and clipping the moustache

ابن عیینہ نے زہری سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے سعید بن مسیب سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’فطرت ( کے خصائل ) پانچ ہیں ( یا پانچ چیزیں فطرت کا حصہ ہیں ) : ختنہ کرانا ، زیر ناف بال مونڈنا ، ناخن تراشنا ، بغل کے بال اکھیڑنا اور مونچھ کترنا ۔ ‘ ‘
