كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Abou Hourayra رضي الله عنه : Il disait : « Le pire des repas est celui du mariage où seuls les riches sont invités et les pauvres sont ignorés. Celui qui ne vient pas au festin désobéit à Allah et à Son Messager ﷺ. »

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ بِئْسَ الطَّعَامُ طَعَامُ الْوَلِيمَةِ يُدْعَى إِلَيْهِ الأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُتْرَكُ الْمَسَاكِينُ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ الدَّعْوَةَ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) used to say:The worst kind of food is the wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are ignored. He who does not come to the feast, he in fact disobeys Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ)

امام مالک نے ابن شہاب سے ، انہوں نے اعرج سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، وہ کہا کرتے تھے : اُس ولیمے کا کھانا بُرا کھانا ہے جس میں امیروں کو بلایا جائے اور مسکینوں کو چھوڑ دیا جائے اور جس نے ( بلانے کے باوجود ) دعوت میں شرکت نہ کی ، اس نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی نافرمانی کی
