Hadith 3491 — Livre 16: The Book of Marriage
كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Anas b. Malik رضي الله عنه : ‘Abd al-Rahman b. ‘Auf رضي الله عنه s’est marié du vivant du Messager d’Allah ﷺ pour un poids de noyau de datte en or, et le Messager d’Allah ﷺ lui a dit : « Fais un repas de mariage, même avec un mouton. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْغُبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ، تَزَوَّجَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ . فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ "
Traduction anglaise
Anas b. Malik (Allah be pleasedwith him) reported that 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Auf (Allah be pleased with him) married during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for a nawat weight of gold and the messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to him:Give a feast even with a sheep

ابو عوانہ نے ہمیں قتادہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے عہد مبارک میں حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ نے سونے کی گھٹلی کے وزن کے برابر سونے کے عوض نکاح کیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا : " ولیمہ کرو خواہ ایک بکری سے کرو ۔
