Hadith 3412 — Livre 16: The Book of Marriage
كتاب النكاح
Rapporté par Isma’il : Ce hadith a été rapporté avec la même chaîne de transmetteurs, avec ces mots : « Nous étions jeunes, alors nous avons dit : “Ô Messager d’Allah, ne devrions-nous pas nous faire castrer ?” » Mais il n’a pas dit : « Nous étions en expédition. »

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ قَالَ كُنَّا وَنَحْنُ شَبَابٌ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلاَ نَسْتَخْصِي وَلَمْ يَقُلْ نَغْزُو .
Traduction anglaise
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Isma'il with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are):" We were young, so we said: Allah's Messenger, should we not have ourselves castrated? But he (the narrator) did not say; We were on an expedition
Traduction en ourdou
ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ نے کہا : ہمیں وکیع نے اسماعیل سے اسی سند کے ساتھ حدیث بیان کی ، اور کہا : ہم سب نوجوان تھے تو ہم نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول! کیا ہم خصی نہ ہو جائیں؟ اور انہوں نے نغزو ( ہم جہاد کرتے تھے ) کے الفاظ نہیں کہے
