Hadith 2738 — Livre 13: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Amr رضي الله عنهما : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a dit : « On m’a informé que tu pries toute la nuit et que tu jeûnes tous les jours. » J’ai répondu : « C’est vrai. » Il a dit : « Si tu fais cela, tu fatigueras beaucoup tes yeux et tu t’affaibliras. Tes yeux ont un droit sur toi, ton corps a un droit sur toi, ta famille a un droit sur toi. Prie et dors, jeûne et arrête-toi. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، - رضى الله عنهما - قَالَ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلَمْ أُخْبَرْ أَنَّكَ تَقُومُ اللَّيْلَ وَتَصُومُ النَّهَارَ " . قُلْتُ إِنِّي أَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ . قَالَ " فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا فَعَلْتَ ذَلِكَ هَجَمَتْ عَيْنَاكَ وَنَفِهَتْ نَفْسُكَ لِعَيْنِكَ حَقٌّ وَلِنَفْسِكَ حَقٌّ وَلأَهْلِكَ حَقٌّ قُمْ وَنَمْ وَصُمْ وَأَفْطِرْ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abdullah b. 'Amr (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: I have been informed that you stand for prayer the whole of night and fast during the day. I said: I do that, whereupon he said: If you did that you in fact strained heavily your eyes and made yourself weak. There is a right of your eyes (upon you) and a right of your self (upon you) and a right of your family (upon you). Stand for prayer and sleep. observe fasts and break (them)
Traduction en ourdou
سفیان بن عینیہ نے عمر و سے ، انھوں نے ابوعباس سے ، انھوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر و رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سےروایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے ارشاد فرمایا : " کیا مجھے خبر نہیں دی گئی کہ تم رات بھر قیام کرتے ہو اور ( روزانہ ) دن کا روزہ رکھتے ہو؟ " میں نے عرض کی : میں یہ کام کرتا ہوں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جب تم یہ کام کرو گے تو ( اس کانتیجہ یہ ہوگاکہ ) تمھاری آنکھیں اندر کو دھنس جائیں گی ۔ اور تمھاری جان کمزورہوجائے گی ۔ تم پر تمھاری آنکھ کا حق ہے ۔ تمھاری اپنی ذات کا حق ہے ۔ اور تمھارے گھر والوں کاحق ہے ۔ قیام کرو اورنیند بھی لو ، روزہ رکھو بھی اور روزہ چھوڑو بھی ۔
