Rapporté par Anas رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ jeûnait parfois tellement qu’on disait qu’il allait continuer sans s’arrêter, et parfois il ne jeûnait pas au point qu’on disait qu’il avait abandonné le jeûne pour de bon

وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَابْنُ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، رضى الله عنه ح. وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَصُومُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ قَدْ صَامَ قَدْ صَامَ . وَيُفْطِرُ حَتَّى يُقَالَ قَدْ أَفْطَرَ قَدْ أَفْطَرَ .
Traduction anglaise
Anas (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to observe fast till it was said that he had observed fast, he had observed fast (perhaps never to break it), and he did not fast till it was said that he had given up fast, he had given up fast (perhaps never to observe it)
Traduction en ourdou
زہیر بن حرب اورابو بکر بن نافع نے ۔ الفاظ انھی کے ہین ۔ دو الگ الگ سندوں کے ساتھ حماد سے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں ثابت نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزے رکھتے حتیٰ کہ کہاجاتا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے روزے شروع کردیے ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے روزے شروع کردیے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روزے ترک کرتے حتیٰ کہ کہا جاتا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے روزے رکھنے چھوڑ دیے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے روزےرکھنے چھوڑ دیے ۔
