Hadith 2714 — Livre 13: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Aïsha (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها : Un jour, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a dit : « Aïsha, as-tu quelque chose à manger ? » J’ai répondu : « Messager d’Allah, nous n’avons rien. » Il a alors dit : « Je jeûne. » Elle raconte : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est sorti, puis on nous a offert un cadeau, et des visiteurs sont venus chez nous. Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ est revenu, je lui ai dit : « Un cadeau nous a été offert (et une grande partie a été donnée aux visiteurs), mais j’ai gardé quelque chose pour toi. » Il a demandé : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? » J’ai répondu : « C’est du hais (un mélange de dattes et de beurre clarifié). » Il a dit : « Apporte-le-moi. » Je le lui ai apporté, il en a mangé puis a dit : « Ce matin, j’étais en jeûne. » Talha a dit : J’ai raconté ce hadith à Mujahid et il a dit : « Ce jeûne volontaire est comme l’aumône : la personne peut la donner si elle veut, ou la garder si elle préfère. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ، بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ " يَا عَائِشَةُ هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَىْءٌ " . قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا عِنْدَنَا شَىْءٌ . قَالَ " فَإِنِّي صَائِمٌ " . قَالَتْ فَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأُهْدِيَتْ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ - أَوْ جَاءَنَا زَوْرٌ - قَالَتْ - فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أُهْدِيَتْ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ - أَوْ جَاءَنَا زَوْرٌ - وَقَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ شَيْئًا . قَالَ " مَا هُوَ " . قُلْتُ حَيْسٌ . قَالَ " هَاتِيهِ " . فَجِئْتُ بِهِ فَأَكَلَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " قَدْ كُنْتُ أَصْبَحْتُ صَائِمًا " . قَالَ طَلْحَةُ فَحَدَّثْتُ مُجَاهِدًا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَقَالَ ذَاكَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الرَّجُلِ يُخْرِجُ الصَّدَقَةَ مِنْ مَالِهِ فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَمْضَاهَا وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَمْسَكَهَا.
Traduction anglaise
A'isha, the Mother of the Believers (Allah be pleased with her), reported that one day the Messenger of Allah may peace be upon him) said to me:'A'isha, have you anything (to eat)? I said: 'Messenger of Allah, there is nothing with us. Thereupon he said: I am observing fast. She said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out, and there was a present, for us and (at the same time) some visitors dropped in. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came back, I said to him: Messenger of Allah, a present was given to us, (and in the meanwhile) there came to us visitors (a major Portion of it has been spent on them), but I have saved something for you. He said: What is it? I said: It is hais (a compound of dates and clarified butter). He said: Bring that. So I brought it to him and he ate it and then said: I woke up in the morning observing fast. Talha said: I narrated this hadith to Mujahid and he said: This (observing of voluntary fast) is like a person who sets apart Sadaqa out of his wealth. He may spend it if he likes, or he may retain it if he so likes

عبدالواحد بن زیاد نے حدیث بیان کی ، ( کہا : ) ہمیں طلحہ بن یحییٰ نے حدیث سنائی ، ( انھوں نے کہا : ) مجھے عائشہ بنت طلحۃ نے ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے حدیث سنائی ، کہا : ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا : "" اے عائشہ !کیا تمھارے پاس ( کھانے کی ) کوئی چیز ہے؟ "" کہا : تو میں نے عرض کی!اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! ہمارے پاس کوئی چیز نہیں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" تو ( پھر ) میں روزے سے ہوں ۔ "" اس کے بعد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لے گئے تو ہمارے پاس ہدیہ بھیجاگیا یا ہمارے پاس ملاقاتی ( جو ہدیہ لائے ) آگئے ۔ کہا : جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم واپس تشریف لائے ، میں نے عرض کی : اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !ہمیں ہدیہ دیا گیا ہے ۔ یا ہمارے پاس مہمان آئے ۔ اورمیں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لئے کچھ محفوظ کرکے رکھا ہے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" وہ کیا ہے؟ "" میں نے عرض کی : وہ حیس ( کھجور ، گھی اورپنیر سے بنا ہوا کھانا ) ہے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" اسے لایئے "" تو میں اسے لے آئی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے کھا لیا ، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" میں نے ر وزے کی حالت میں صبح کی تھی ۔ "" طلحہ نے کہا : میں نے یہ حدیث مجاہد کو سنائی تو انھوں نے کہا : یہ اس آدمی کی طرح ہے جو ا پنے مال سے صدقہ نکالتا ہے ، اگر وہ چاہے تو دے دے اور اگر وہ چاہے تو اس کو روک لے ۔
