Hadith 2671 — Livre 13: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Abu Ubaid, l’affranchi d’Ibn Azhar : J’ai célébré l’Aïd avec Omar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه. Il est sorti à l’extérieur, a prié, puis a adressé un discours aux gens et a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a interdit de jeûner ces deux jours : le jour de l’Aïd al-Fitr (à la fin du Ramadan) et le jour où vous mangez la viande de vos sacrifices. »

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ أَزْهَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَجَاءَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ يَوْمَانِ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صِيَامِهِمَا يَوْمُ فِطْرِكُمْ مِنْ صِيَامِكُمْ وَالْآخَرُ يَوْمٌ تَأْكُلُونَ فِيهِ مِنْ نُسُكِكُمْ
Traduction anglaise
Abu Ubaid, the freed slave of Ibn Azhar, reported:I observed Id along with Umar b. al-Khattab (Allah be pleased with him). He came (out in an open space) and prayed and (after) completing it addressed the people and said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has forbidden the observing of fast on these two days. One is the day of Fitr (at the end of your fasts), and the second one, the day when you eat (the meat) of your sacrifices
Traduction en ourdou
یحییٰ بن یحییٰ ، مالک ابن شہاب ، حضرت ابو عبید مولی بن ازہر سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہاکہ میں عید کے دن حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے پاس موجود تھا تو آپ آئے اور نماز پڑھی پھر نماز سے فارغ ہوکر لوگوں کو خطبہ دیا اور فرمایا کہ یہ وہ دن ہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے روزہ رکھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے ایک وہ دن ہے کہ جس دن تم افطار کرتے ہو اور دوسرا وہ دن ہے کہ جس میں تم اپنی قربانیوں کا گوشت کھاتے ہو ۔
