Hadith 2638 — Livre 13: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصوم
Ce hadith est rapporté par Hicham avec la même chaîne de transmetteurs, mais il ne mentionne pas dans la première partie que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ jeûnait, et il dit dans la seconde partie qu’il a abandonné le jeûne de ‘Ashura, et que celui qui voulait jeûnait, et celui qui voulait ne le faisait pas, sans attribuer ces paroles au Messager d’Allah ﷺ comme dans la version de Jarir

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي أَوَّلِ الْحَدِيثِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُهُ . وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ وَتَرَكَ عَاشُورَاءَ فَمَنْ شَاءَ صَامَهُ وَمَنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ . وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْهُ مِنْ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَرِوَايَةِ جَرِيرٍ .
Traduction anglaise
This hadith is narrated on the authority of Hisham with the same chain of transmitters, but he made no mention in the first part of the hadith that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to observe fast, and said about the second part that he abandoned the (fast) of Ashura, and he who wished observed the fast and who wished otherwise abandoned it, and he did not hold it as the words of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as mentioned in the narration transmitted by Jarir

ابو بکر بن ابی شیبہ ، ابو کریب ، ابن نمیر ، حضرت ہشام سے اس سند کے ساتھ روایت ہے اور حدیث کے شروع میں ذکر نہیں کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یوم عاشورہ کا روزہ رکھتے تھے اور حدیث کے آخر میں ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عاشورہ کا روزہ چھوڑ دیا کہ جو چاہے اس کا روزہ رکھے اور جو چاہے چھوڑ دے ۔
