كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Abstenez-vous du jeûne continu (Saum Wisal). » Ses compagnons ont dit : « Messager d’Allah, mais toi tu observes le jeûne continu. » Il a répondu : « Vous n’êtes pas comme moi dans ce domaine, car je passe la nuit dans un état où mon Seigneur me nourrit et m’abreuve. Faites des actions que vous pouvez supporter. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ، قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي، زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْوِصَالَ " . قَالُوا فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " إِنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ مِثْلِي إِنِّي أَبِيتُ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي فَاكْلَفُوا مِنَ الأَعْمَالِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Abstain from Saum-Wisal. They (his Companions) said: Messenger of Allah, but you observe Saum Wisal. Upon this he said: You are not like me in this matter, for I spend my night (in a state) that my Lord feeds me and provides me drink Devote yourselves to the deeds (the burden of which) you can bear
Traduction en ourdou
زہیر بن حرب ، اسحاق ، زہیر ، جریر ، عمارہ ، ابی زرعہ ، حضرت ابوہریرۃ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین نے فرمایاکہ تم وصال کے روزے رکھنے سے بچو صحابہ رضوان اللہ عنھم اجمعین نے عرض کیا اے اللہ کےرسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !آپ بھی تو وصال کے روزے رکھتے ہیں؟آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایاتم اس معاملے میں میری طرح نہیں ہوکیونکہ میں اس حالت میں رات گزارتاہوں کہ میرا رب مجھے کھلاتا اور پلاتا ہے ۔ تو تم وہ کام کرو جس کی تم طاقت رکھتے ہو ۔
