Hadith 2538 — Livre 13: The Book of Fasting
كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ avait deux muezzins, Bilal et le fils d’Umm Maktum, qui était aveugle. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Bilal fait l’appel à la prière à la fin de la nuit (c’est-à-dire au sahur), alors mangez et buvez jusqu’à ce que le fils d’Umm Maktum fasse l’appel. » Le narrateur a précisé : « La différence de temps entre leurs deux appels n’était pas plus longue que le temps pour l’un de descendre du minaret et l’autre d’y monter. »

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - قَالَ كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُؤَذِّنَانِ بِلاَلٌ وَابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ الأَعْمَى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ بِلاَلاً يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُؤَذِّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ " . قَالَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَهُمَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ هَذَا وَيَرْقَى هَذَا .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had two Mu'adhdhins, Bilal and son of Umm Maktum, the blind. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:Bilal announces Adhan at (the fag end of the) night (i. e. Sahri), so eat and drink till the son of Umm Maktum announces Adhan. And he (the narrator) said: And the (difference of time) between their (Adhans) was not more than this that one climbed down (from the minaret) and the other climbed up (to announce Adhan)
Traduction en ourdou
ابن نمیر ، عبیداللہ بن نافع ، حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ ر سول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دو مؤذن تھے حضرت بلال اور حضرت عبداللہ ابن مکتوم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نابینا تھے ۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ تو رات کے و قت ہی اذان دے دیتے ہیں لہذا تم کھاتے اور پیتے رہو یہاں تک کہ حضرت ابن ام مکتوم اذان دیں راوی نے کہا کہ ان دونوں کی اذان میں کوئی فرق نہیں تھا ۔ سوائے اس کے کہ وہ ا ذان دے کر اترتے تھے اور یہ چڑھتے تھے ۔
