كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Ibn Umar (qu’Allah les agrée tous les deux) : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Le mois est ainsi, ainsi et ainsi » (c’est-à-dire en montrant trois fois avec ses doigts), et il a replié son pouce la troisième fois (pour montrer que le mois peut aussi avoir vingt-neuf jours)

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، - رضى الله عنهما - يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . وَقَبَضَ إِبْهَامَهُ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:The month is thus and thus and thus (i. e. pointing with his fingers thrice), and he held back his thumb at the third time (in order to show that it can also consist of twenty-nine days)
Traduction en ourdou
عمرو بن دینار نے ہمیں حدیث سنائی کہ انھوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، کہہ رہے تھے : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ، " مہینہ اس طرح ، اس طرح ، اور اس طرح ہوتاہے " اور تیسری دفعہ اپنا انگوٹھا بند کرلیا ۔ ( اشارے سے انتیس 29 کی گنتی بتائی ۔)
