كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Un homme est venu voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et a demandé : « Ô Messager d’Allah, quelle est la meilleure aumône ? » Il ﷺ a répondu : « C’est de donner l’aumône quand tu es en bonne santé, que tu tiens à ton argent, que tu as peur de la pauvreté et que tu espères devenir riche. Ne tarde pas à donner jusqu’à ce que tu sois sur le point de mourir et que tu dises : “C’est pour untel, et c’est pour untel.” Car à ce moment-là, cela appartient déjà à ces personnes. »

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَعْظَمُ فَقَالَ " أَنْ تَصَدَّقَ وَأَنْتَ صَحِيحٌ شَحِيحٌ تَخْشَى الْفَقْرَ وَتَأْمُلُ الْغِنَى وَلاَ تُمْهِلْ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَ قُلْتَ لِفُلاَنٍ كَذَا وَلِفُلاَنٍ كَذَا أَلاَ وَقَدْ كَانَ لِفُلاَنٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported that there came a person to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said:Messenger of Allah, which charity is the best? Upon this he said: That you should give charity (in a state when you are) healthy and close-fisted, one haunted by the fear of poverty, hoping to become rich (charity in such a state of health and mind is the best). And you must not defer (charity to such a length) that you are about to die and would he saying: This is for so and so, and this is for so and so. Lo, it has already come into (the possession of so and so)
Traduction en ourdou
جریر نے عمارہ بن قعقاع سے انھوں نے ابو زرعہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، ا نھوں نے کہا : ایک آدمی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حا ضر ہوا اور کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم !کو ن سا صدقہ ( اجر میں ) بڑا ہے؟آپ نے فر ما یا : " تم ( اس وقت ) صدقہ کرو جب تم تند رست ہو اور مال کی خواہش رکھتے ہو فقر سے ڈرتے ہو اور تونگری کی امید رکھتے ہو اور اس قدر تا خیر نہ کرو کہ جب ( تمھا ری جا ن ) حلق تک پہنچ جائے ( پھر ) تم کہو : اتنا فلا ں کا ہے اور اتنا فلا ں کا ۔ اب تو وہ فلا ں ( وارث ) کا ہو ہی چکا ہے ۔
