Hadith 2313 — Livre 12: The Book of Zakat
كتاب الزكاة
Rapporté par Jabir رضي الله عنه : Un homme des Banu ‘Udhra a affranchi un esclave après sa mort. Cette nouvelle est parvenue au Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il a demandé : « As-tu des biens en dehors de cela ? » Il a répondu : « Non. » Le Prophète ﷺ a alors dit : « Qui veut acheter cet esclave de moi ? » Nulaim ibn Abdullah l’a acheté pour huit cents dirhams, qui furent remis au Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il les a rendus à l’homme et a dit : « Commence par toi-même et dépense pour toi. S’il reste quelque chose, alors pour ta famille. S’il reste encore, alors pour tes proches. Et s’il reste encore, alors donne-le comme ceci, comme cela. » Et il montrait devant lui, à sa droite et à sa gauche

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي عُذْرَةَ عَبْدًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَقَالَ " أَلَكَ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ " . فَقَالَ لاَ . فَقَالَ " مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي " . فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَدَوِيُّ بِثَمَانِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَجَاءَ بِهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَدَفَعَهَا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " ابْدَأْ بِنَفْسِكَ فَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْهَا فَإِنْ فَضَلَ شَىْءٌ فَلأَهْلِكَ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ عَنْ أَهْلِكَ شَىْءٌ فَلِذِي قَرَابَتِكَ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ عَنْ ذِي قَرَابَتِكَ شَىْءٌ فَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " . يَقُولُ فَبَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَعَنْ يَمِينِكَ وَعَنْ شِمَالِكَ .
Traduction anglaise
Jabir reported:A person from the Banu 'Udhra set a slave free after his death. This news reached the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon hhn). Upon this he said: Have you any property besides it? He said: No. Upon this he said: Who would buy (this slave) from me? Nulaim b. Abdullah bought it for eight hundred dirhams and (this amount was) brought to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who returned it to him (the owner), and then said: Start with your own self and spend it on yourself, and if anything is left, it should be spent on your family, and if anything is left (after meeting the needs of the family) it should be spent on relatives, and if anything is left from the family, it should be spent like this, like this. And he was saying: In front of you, on your right and on your left

لیث نے ہمیں ابو زبیر سے خبر دی اور انھوں نے حضرت جا بر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ۔ انھوں نے کہا : بنو عذرہ کے ایک آدمی نے ایک غلام کو اپنے بعد آزادی دی ( کہ میرے مرنے کے بعد وہ آزاد ہو گا ) یہ بات رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تک پہنچی تو آپ نے پو چھا : کیا تمھا رے پاس اس کے علاوہ بھی کو ئی مال ہے ؟اس نے کہا : نہیں اس پر آپ نے فر ما یا : " اس ( غلام ) کو مجھ سے کو ن خریدے گا ؟ تو اسے نعیم بن عبد اللہ عدوی نے آٹھ سو ( 800 ) درہم میں خرید لیا اور درہم لا کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو پیش کر دیے ۔ اس کے بعد آپ نے فر ما یا : " اپنے آپ سے ابتدا کرو خود پر صدقہ کرو اگر کچھ بچ جا ئے تو تمھا رے گھروالوں کے لیے ہے اگر تمھا رے گھروالوں سے کچھ بچ جا ئے تو تمھا رے قرابت داروں کے لیے ہے اور اگر تمھارے قرابت داروں سے کچھ بچ جا ئے تو اس طرف اور اس طرف خرچ کرو ۔ ( راوی نے کہا : ) آپ اشارے سے کہہ رہے تھے کہ اپنے سامنے اپنے دائیں اور اپنے بائیں ( خرچ کرو ۔)
