Hadith 2242 — Livre 11: The Book of Prayer - Funerals
كتاب الجنائز
Rapporté par Thumama b. Shafayy : Lorsque nous étions avec Fadala b. 'Ubaid dans le pays des Romains, à un endroit appelé Rudis, un de nos amis est décédé. Fadala b. 'Ubaid a ordonné de préparer une tombe pour lui, puis elle a été nivelée ; il a ensuite dit : « J’ai entendu le Messager d’Allah ﷺ nous ordonner de niveler la tombe. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، - فِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ - أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيَّ، حَدَّثَهُ - وَفِي، رِوَايَةِ هَارُونَ - أَنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ، شُفَىٍّ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ بِرُودِسَ فَتُوُفِّيَ صَاحِبٌ لَنَا فَأَمَرَ فَضَالَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ بِقَبْرِهِ فَسُوِّيَ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَأْمُرُ بِتَسْوِيَتِهَا .
Traduction anglaise
Thumama b. Shafayy reported:When we were with Fadala b. 'Ubaid in the country of the Romans at a place (known as) Rudis, a friend of ours died. Fadala b. 'Ubaid ordered to prepare a grave for him and then it was levelled; and then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanding (us) to level the grave
Traduction en ourdou
اثامہ بن شفی نے بیان کیا ، کہا : ہم سرزمین روم کے جزیرہ رودس ( Rhodes ) میں فضالہ بن عبید ( اوسی انصاری ) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے ساتھ تھے کہ ہمارا ایک دوست وفات پاگیا ۔ حضرت فضالہ بن عبید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ان کی قبر کے بارے میں حکم دیا تو اس کو برابرکردیا گیا ، پھر انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان ( قبروں ) کو ( زمین کے ) برابر کرنے کا حکم دیتے تھے ۔
