كتاب الجنائز
Rapporté par Muhammad b. Munkadir : Il a dit : J’ai entendu de Mas'ud b. al-Hakam, qui l’a rapporté de Hadrat 'Ali, qu’il a dit : « Nous avons vu le Prophète ﷺ se lever pour un cercueil et nous nous sommes levés aussi ; il s’est assis et nous nous sommes également assis. »

وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ، بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَسْعُودَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ رَأَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَامَ فَقُمْنَا وَقَعَدَ فَقَعَدْنَا . يَعْنِي فِي الْجَنَازَةِ .
Traduction anglaise
It is narrated on the authority of Muhammad b. Munkadir that he said:I heard from Mas'ud b. al-Hakam who narrated it on the authority of Hadrat 'Ali that he said: We saw the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up for a (bier) and we also stood up; he sat down and we too sat down
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمان بن مہدی نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے محمد بن منکدر سے حدیث سنائی ، کہا : میں نے مسعود بن حکم سے سنا ، وہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کررہے تھے ، انھوں نے کہا : ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے تو ہم بھی کھڑے ہوئے اور آپ بیٹھنے لگے تگو ہم بھی بیٹھنے لگے ، یعنی جنازے میں ۔
