كتاب الجنائز
Rapporté par Abu Huraira : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « N’as-tu pas vu, quand une personne meurt et que ses yeux restent ouverts ? » Il (Abu Huraira) a répondu : Oui. Le Prophète a dit : « C’est parce que, lorsque l’âme quitte le corps, la vue la suit. »

Texte arabe original
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ بْنِ، يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي أَنَّهُ، سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلَمْ تَرَوُا الإِنْسَانَ إِذَا مَاتَ شَخَصَ بَصَرُهُ " . قَالُوا بَلَى . قَالَ " فَذَلِكَ حِينَ يَتْبَعُ بَصَرُهُ نَفْسَهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:Did you not see when the man died and his eyes were fixedly open? He (Abu Huraira) said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) said: It is due to the fact that when (the soul leaves the body) his eyesight follows the soul
Traduction en ourdou
ابن جریج نے علاء بن یعقوب سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا : مجھے میرے والد نے خبر دی کہ انھوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرۃ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " کیاتم انسان کو دیکھتے نہیں کہ جب وہ فوت ہوجاتاہے تو اس کی نظر اٹھ جاتی ہے؟ " لوگوں نے کہا : کیوں نہیں ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " یہ اس وقت ہوتا ہے جب اس کی نظر اس کی روح کا پیچھا کرتی ہے ۔
